Tranquil Tea Talk

Hey all! I was really hoping to share something fantastic with you in a post but unfortunately I am unable to due to image drama… (working on getting a decent camera. My Birthday is coming up though… 😉 )

Anyway, it looks like you’ll just have to wait a little longer so please kindly bare with me. In the mean time, I suppose you’ll have to guess! Anticipation. Think yummy. thiiiiiink shapes, cute, chewy & crumbs!

Meanwhile, Tonight I was feeling rather ridiculous. Suddenly sucker punched by a headache which was probably brought on by medication, due to expected side effects & – for me – some exhaustion from the day.

Make no mistake though, that this yucky, sluggy & heartburny feeling is all my own doing! I over indulged in waaaaaay too much TAKEOUTS over the weekend! Still, no regrets! ha, ha, ha!

So I thought, ok Jodi. What could you possibly take to try & tend to this self-inflicted state you put yourself in? I opened up the cupboard & grabbed the box of ‘Freshpak – Rooibos & Chamomile Herbal Tea’.

Now I am aware that this may not help the heartburn subside, but that’s why we have Rene’s people! 🙂

This herbal tea will however heat up your insides, let off a fresh aroma & some what settle & sooth your mind & body. Perfect for when you’re feeling ‘under the weather’ or when you need a bit of a ‘çalm cuppa’ before bed.

Rooibos is a broom-like member of the legume family of plants growing in South Africa’s fynbos. Chamomile; a daisy-like flower that has traditionally been used as an aid to unwind & relax before going to sleep. This ‘Freshpak – Rooibos & Chamomile Herbal Tea’ has an even gold colour, warm floral fragrance with a delicate taste. It is also naturally caffeine-free & contains a beneficial anti-oxidant known as polyphenols.

Serving Suggestion right off the box:
* Use one teabag per cup
* Add freshly boiled water
* Allow to brew for 3 minutes (to reach full flavour)

– Add milk & sugar to taste (optional)

I actually prefer it on the rocks!

I can see how easy & effective it can be to make this herbal tea part of my daily life style.

keep calm
